Hi, my name is Anishka and I am an employee at Hank’s Place located at Fresh Creek, Andros Island, Bahamas. I would like to wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Al is the nicest man I have ever met. He gave me a Shakespeare Ugly Stick rod for my Christmas gift and I caught my first fish which was a 8 pound grey snapper. Some times he gives me a hard time and I call him a mean mon. This Island is a beautiful place and I wish you all were here so I can take you to our historical sites.
My name is John Mackey and I’am the chef at Hank’s Place and I want to wish you all a warm and very happy Merry Christmas. I hope you enjoy the holiday as much as I will. I wish you were all here tonight for my BBQ fresh pork on the grill smothered with herbs and my special potatoe salad.
I asked John and Anishka to send a little greeting as they are always curious as to what I write in this report. Anishka is 17 and is always in a happy mood. John is an excellent chef who is always willing to cook any fish we bring and I let him prepare it the way he prefers. Hank and Eva also would like to wish all a Happy Holiday. As for me I couldn’t send any Christmas cards for obvious reasons so I would like to send greetings to one and all. It’s tough duty having to stay here over the holidays but I think I’ll manage.
Dan and Nancy Deletka arrived yesterday afternoon and are fishing with Herman at Bowen Sound today. I’ll be seeing them later this evening to get a report and I’m sure it will be a good one. If any one can find the fish, Herman can.
