The Andros Bay Cottages have been constructed and maintained by a local family that resides in Cargill Creek. The property is accessible by boat only, ensuring total privacy for guests.  There are four cottages on property that are peaceful, bright, and spacious. Each room includes air conditioning, large overhead fan, comfortable beds, fresh linens, and hot water showers. From your private porch, you can take in fantastic east-facing sunrise views. Just off the porch is a vast beach, with a flat for morning or evening strolls (where you can hunt for tailing bonefish!). Take a short walk to the separate dining room and bar for meals and cocktails. There is plenty of room for lounging on the beach, too. This property is very private. There are no roads onto the property, ensuring privacy and a true vacation! Guests will arrive via a quick boat ride across Cargill Creek.

Meals:

Breakfast and dinner are in the dining room, where you will also find a small bar. Dinners are prepared in Bahamanian style (fresh fish, conch, lobster) with traditional sides. The menus can be adjusted for personal preferences. Breakfast is made to order each morning, and served with coffee, tea and juices. Lunch will be provided while guests are fishing.

Communications: 

There is Wi-Fi available on property. U.S. cell phones work well on Andros too; be sure to contact your service provider to arrange an international calling plan, prior to departing the U.S.

Other Activities: In addition to flats fishing, we can arrange deep-sea fishing trips, snorkeling along the reef or you can try your luck at spear fishing. Andros also has 150 blue holes throughout the island, and visitors can head to the Blue Holes National Park to experience these natural wonders. Lastly, we can arrange rental cars to explore the island and take in the sights. The cottages are situated on a great ocean side beach, so don’t hesitate to take a day to lounge.

Daily Itinerary:

After arrival to Andros Island, you will be transported via private taxi to Cargill Creek, about a 20 minute ride from Fresh Creek Airport. After settling in to your cottage, the staff will brief you on the basics of the property and prep you for evening appetizers.

Fishing Days: Breakfast will be made to order, prior to departing for the day. Breakfast time will be arranged the night prior. After breakfast, you will have time to prepare for your day of fishing. When you are ready to go, the guides will be waiting for you at the on-site dock. When you are loaded up in the boat, the guides will head out to their secret spot for a day of stalking bonefish! As the sun begins to drop to the horizon, the guides will return you to the dock, where you will be able to get ready for the evening, appetizers and dinner!
