Big Hole River 950 cfs Maidenrock

The dry fly fishing remains very good and surprisingly all through the day.

Warm, dry conditions continue and warmer temps forecast for the weekend.

On the subject of the photo of that big Grayling which raised  few hackles. I guarantee you that fish was not hurt in the least. It like all fish we take pics of are held in the water in a rubber net until  the camera and all is ready. With wet hands it is then gently lifted out and a quick shot taken and then back in the net and held in the water until I know for sure they are ok. If I figure a fish is too stressed I don’t allow any pics no matter how big.

Those endangered Grayling are a beautiful fish and better yet, they go really good with eggs in the morning?!^%%$#@@$
