Dry Fly Action

Again this morning it was rather slow but this afternoon after a rain shower the baetis showed up and for a few hours we had good action on top. Most of the fish were small but it was fun to finally get some dry fly action. We were on the upper river and the reports I got from the lower section were good with nymphs and streamers. Look for the salmon fly’s the middle of next week.

Today was the last day with the Brown party and all though they missed the big bugs they had some good fishing. It was a lot of fun guiding them the last five days. Their a great bunch of guys.
