We woke up to 25 degree temperatures this morning, with snow and a cool breeze. Not exactly how we thought Mother’s Day Weekend would go..but heck, any moisture is good moisture!
The forecast for the coming week is rather poor..cold, rainy. So, in the spirit of being cold we decided to go take another run at the Smith River! Looking forward to being there, despite the wet. Any trip on that river is a good trip. We will be joining our friend, Todd France and a few others. There are rumors of Salmonflies on the Smith, so hopefully we will get one or two warm days to find out. Regardless, we have our usual stash of 6 cases of Rainier, a bottle of Fireball and lots of lighter fluid.
Al and Travis will be holding down the fort while we are gone, so if you are in the area, stop by to see them! Cheers.
