Big Hole River 9470 cfs—-Maidenrock
Has the river peaked? If it has by my records, Holly would be the winner with a prediction of 11,800 on June 10th. The high flow at Maidenrock was 10,700 on that date. It ain’t over yet but with cool temps. this might be the high.
I just took a walk along the river and the visibility is actually close to two feet. This next week it will start to fish.
Beginner or intermediate floaters should stay off the river for now. If you screw up at these flows, the river is very unforgiving.
How about another contest? What date will the Salmon Flies be at Maidenrock? We may as well use that site for this also.
