This is no April fools deal, this is the real thing. This morning I noticed a little ice floating down the river and then a little more. In a few minutes it was bank to bank with ice flow. This went on for almost two hours. It had to go completely out of its banks upstream because there were lots of logs and trees and barn timbers that were still attached with long spikes.

I will predict that with all this ice clearing off now, mid April will be some excellent fishing.
