Winter has come with a vengence here in the Big Hole Valley. Actually the entire Rocky Mtn. region has been affected by this storm. Lots of snow and blowing snow and severe cold temps. Today the temps have moderated some and it got up to a balmy 10 degrees. Skiers are happy as many local ski areas are opening today.
I just have to put my 2 cents worth of opinion regarding this TSA thing with airport passenger screening. I’ve about. There is a very easy solution—opt out and take the bus or train or walk or what ever.
How soon people forget 9/11 and how such simple things as box cutters caused so much damage and loss of life.
You might think opt out and try to lighten up the screening process. What about when this creep fanatic packs a wad of C4 in his shorts and makes it through security? You might definitely want to opt out then when he pulls it out and sticks it to the bulk head of the plane next to your head, smiles at you and says you will now be a martyr also. Trust me—there are not 72 virgins waiting for you.
I will be traveling soon, internationally also. If they want me to drop em and stand there (Full Monte) I won’t have any problem doing it. Just my opinion.
