Restrictions & Closures:

CLOSED Section 1 (Saginaw Bridge on Skinner Meadows Rd. to confluence with North Fork of Big Hole.

HOOT OWL: confluence of North Fork of Big Hole to Tony Schoonen (Notch Bottom)

CLOSED: Tony Schoonen (Notch Bottom) to Jefferson River.

Despite the restrictions on the river, and the low water, we are still having good fishing. We have been receiving rain on various parts of the river on a daily basis. Our current 10 day forecast is showing below average daytime temperatures, with continued chances of rain. This is great for the fish, as our water temperatures are staying in the "safe zone".

If you have been itching for some dry fly fishing, we have been seeing Tricos and Spruce Moths, and have been finding healthy trout looking up for dry flies.

We have some guiding availability in the next 10 days, if you would like to get out for some mid-summer dry fly action! We are hoping the river flows are going to hold steady at current levels.
