Big Hole River 4500 cfs—Maidenrock
Today was the first time we had good fishing with salmon fly patterns. We boated a 23 and 20 inch brown. Got video of them and the client is going to send pics so I can get them on the site.
No particular pattern was a stand out. We used a variety of salmon and golden stone patterns.
At 4500 cfs the river is still bank full and very fast in places. It continues to drop and the clarity is excellent.
