Big Hole River 1610 cfs—Maidenrock
Yesterday the fishing was best described as awesome. Streamers, nymphs and lots of dry fly action with BWO patterns. It rained most of the day and it’s the rain that generates the baetis hatch.
The river came up just a little which is surprising given all the moisture we’ve had the last few days. The nights are still very cold which is actually a good thing keeping that high snow in place.
Forecast is for more moisture but warmer temps in the 60’s.
