The Silver Bridge access will be closed Monday the 19th for some desperately needed improvements. This will be a temporary fix until this fall when there will be a concrete ramp put in.
Top water action remains good in the morning and then tapers off in the afternoon. Late afternoon and evening it picks up again. A variety of mayfly patterns are working along with renegades and humpies.
Mountain stresms are starting to drop and fishing them is starting to be good. If you venture to one of these streams be sure to have mosquito repellant along or you won’t be staying there very long. If you and your buddy are fishing on a mountain stream and a bear charges you the best way to avoid being attacked your self is to kick your buddy in the knee and then run like hell.
