If the flow stays below 150 the end is near and the forecast does not look good. If we could get all the irrigators to cut back 10 to 20 percent we would make it but I don’t think that will happen.

I finally got the ball rolling in the right direction regarding those diversion dams between Maidenrock and Melrose. An official complaint is being filed with the Mile High Conservation and I found that upon them receiving this complaint, an investigation in the matter is mandatory. This will bring in the biologist from FWP on an official basis as well as the chairman of the Mile High Conservation as well as others. Even if the river gets closed to fishing, these blockages will be removed.
My sister who now lives in Chicago sent me a plane ticket to go and visit her there so I guess I better go. I would do a report from there but there are no trout nor bonefish or any species even close. She lives in the middle of the city in some high rise condo and I have no idea what I will be doing there. Talk about a fish being out of water.
