This afternoon we decided to close the shop and float from Melrose to Browns Bridge, another R&D trip. About a mile up from Brown’s where the river splits there is a sweeper in the left channel that goes almost completely across the channel. This could be dangerous as it around a sharp turn and fast water. If high water doesn’t clear this thing out, it will definitely eat a few boats.

Fishing was fair on dry’s but the pumpkin bugger won again with a fat 21 inch brown.
