Until today the weather here in SW Montana has been very mild and there has been fisherman on the river just about every weekend that I could see. That all changed today as it started to snow this morning and has not quit yet and the temp continues to drop. Forecast is for highs in the 20’s and low’s down to about 6. This is actually good news as with the rain we have been having and now all the snow the river is in excellent condition going into winter. The hunters have been praying for snow for this last week of the season. The slat rats and snowmobilers have been praying for the same thing. As for me I say let er snow and get super cold to kill the pine beetle. I’ll be keeping tabs on the situation from Andros.
