Big Hole River 204 cfs Beaverhead River 524 cfs
I just pulled up the flow rate and graph and the river took a serious plunge today at least at the Melrose guaging station. This is at a time when water users are supposed to voluntarily cut back????
Dry fly fishing remains excellent in the mornings with spruce moths on the upper river and swarms of tricos on the lower.
Chuck Robbins from Dillon reports the Beaverhead has been fishing hot and cold but the last two days have been good on top water with tricos to small hoppers.
