Top water action was much better today using a variety of small mayfly patterns. It slowed up mid afternoon which is no surprise. We are kind of in between hatches at this time. There are no tricos, spruce moths or hoppers yet and not a hell of a lot of mayflies. However this morning there was a good hatch until the wind started blowing again.
