This morning the Big Hole is at 1190 cfs and rising which makes for other than desirable fishing conditions. It has been raining quite a bit the last couple days and that is melting the snow in the lower valley’s. Right now there is a mixture of snow and rain and I’m sure it’s snowing hard in the high country. The river is not yet muddy but the visibility is down to two feet or less.
Our Bahamian feast last night was excellent. The conch salad and stewed conch came out great. Their was plenty left over and the Big Labowski didn’t hesitate to take the remainder home.
I will make some calls and get reports on the Madison, Missouri and Beaverhead.
