Big Hole River 3440 cfs—-Maidenrock
The river is dropping and visibility is almost three feet.
Most fisherman are doing very well and mostly on streamers. Nymphs are doing good also if you so desire to fish that way.
I believe runoff is over. At the end of April when the river came up to 6200 cfs, I predicted that might be the high flow for this spring. Unless we really get dumped on with lots of rain I believe that prediction will stand. So most of you will miss the high flow prediction by more than a month. I could still be wrong but I don’t think so. Happy to hear any other predictions.
