Dry Fly’s Rule

Big Hole 335 cfs Beaverhead 346 cfs

Dry fly fishing has been so good that we haven’t tied on a nymph in quite some time. This morning there were spruce moths right off the git go, which we haven’t seen for a few days. They only lasted for about an hour but the fish were really on them. After that it was adams, caddis, tricos, purple haze and when the rains came it was a chernoble ant that took the biggest fish of the day. Canyon Creek, which dumps in just above Maidenrock was pretty muddy from the heavy rain but should be cleared up by tomorrow.
