Caddis?

Finally got the current flow from the USGS and it’s down to 2240 cfs. We floated the upper stretch again today and other than boating a 22 inch brown it was kinda slow. Bob isn’t too fond of nymph fishing, as a matter of fact he just won’t do it. He’s been fishing with me for 15 years and I damn sure not going to try to change him at this point. If there not hitting streamers of dry’s he’s just fine with enjoying the float.

Late afternoon we started to see several caddis. There were some on the water but the fish were not on them yet. In the next few days the top water action should get quite interesting.

I did tie a caddis larvae pattern behind Bob’s bugger when he wasn,t looking (delektable cdc baby) and that snagged a few fish.
