Better Day

Big Hole 304 cfs Beaverhead 124 cfs

Fishing today was much better than the last two days. We caught fish on nymphs, trico patterns, adams and one big one on a streamer. Hoppers were a bust. We saw two big fish tailing, just like bonefish right next to the bank in totally slack water. Greg did a good job presenting his fly but it hung up on a little rock right next to the fish, one pull on it to get if off and he was gone. Had pretty good action most of the day. The wind started to blow in the afternoon but at least today it was down river. Got a couple days off so I’m going over to the Jefferson to check it out.
