Premium beer, premium Scott fly rods, premium island. Now throw in a conch salad and a couple bonefish and you have paradise.

The Montana guys left yesterday after a week of fun and fishing. Bonefish, sharks, jacks, cudas all were caught on a fly with them. The shark proved a little too much for Justin’s 10 weight rod. He was way into his backing and decided to lean on him a bit more and the rod just exploded. No, it wasn’t a Scott but one of those made over in Twin Bridges. All he had left was about a foot of the butt.

Justin and Seth were with Tommy one day and they found several permit but could not get them to eat. They said one was huge like 50 to 60 pounds. I went with them the next day but they were no where to be found.
