Great Day

For the first day it could not have been any better, well it can always be better but you take what you can get and be happy with it. In the first hour of hunting the elusive bonefish I hooked into 4 and landed 2 that were both very large fish. The thing about this time of year is that you don’t see as many fish with the colder water but you do see much bigger fish.

I was only out a couple hours and when I got back to the dock there was my old budddy Gogie waiting for me. Of course we had to go back out and do a little bottom fishing for some mutton snapper. We caught six that we kept but no big ones today. Like I said before you take what the sea gives you.

Between the bonefish and the muttons with Gogie it was a super first day.
