It took some talking but I finally got Gogie to catch a cuda with a fly rod. Through out his life here on Andros he has caught hundreds of cudas and all on a hand line so this was a new experience for him. I don’t think he will trade in his hand line with 90 pound test line on it. When they hookup with a hand line there is no playing the fish or sport to it, it’s meat on the table for these guys.
It was mostly cloudy again today so we didn’t even try for bonefish. It was a good day even with the conditions as we caught 2 cudas and 3 mutton snapper.
