Fishing Report for April 14, 2017

The Big Hole is looking fantastic compared to the last 2 years.  The cold temps have been holding back the snow enough to keep a couple feet of visibility in the upper river.  The skwallas have been out during the warmer times of days and folks are getting a few eats a day on purple chubbies and skwalla patterns.  I took my good friend, Josh Bush, fishing for his birthday this week.  The fishing was slow, but we did stick some good browns on our new streamer patterns.  The bugs that have been working are still working with a slight change from purple worms to red worms with a hot bead.  Al and I picked up the rest of the fly inventory for the shop last weekend, so come down and see the new patterns for this year.  Give us a call if you have any questions or want an up to the minute report on the upper Big Hole.  Here are a few pics from the week.
