Big Hole River 2740 cfs. temp. 54
The dry fly action has slowed a lot with the lack of caddis flies. There are still a few in the upper river but just small fish looking at them. The streamer action has made up for the lack of dry fly fishing big time. The last two days we have done vey well especially in the mornings. Today should be even better with the heavy cloud cover.
Yesterday Wendy tied into a couple brown trout that were worthy of some photos. She was having a bit of trouble at first presenting a streamer until I told her quit with the girly casts. She took quite an offense to that comment but from that point on she was chucking those buggers toward the banks like a pro and was catching fish.
