Big Hole River 5800 cfs
There is now more water flowing down the Big Hole than there is in the Missouri below Holter Dam. This is actually a good thing as it flushes out the river removes all the silt and keeps it clean. A lot of those tail water rivers could use a good flushing like the Beaverhead, (especially below Barrets) and the Missouri below Holter. I have heard some talk that they are going to crank up the flow on the Mo. to do just that.
Fished Kambich pond today which is a 15 acre spring fed pond just 2 miles south of the shop. Caught several kamloops but none of the big boys which are in there.
