Big Fish Day

The size and quality of the fish today was outstanding. When you have a double on and both fish are in the 20 inch range—that’s good fishin mon. Both those fish were in a skinny water riffle. My guys before that were kind of doubting me as to where to fish. They were amazed and after that had no problem fishing the skinny water.

Top water action slowed up, no correct that. Top water action came to a complete stop early afternoon. So out came the chubby with a nymph dropper and the action picked up again.

Warm temps for the next few days .

If you want really good action with chubby’s , be on the water at first light—just don’t wake me up. Call the day before  and arrange a shuttle.
