I could go so far as to say that flies have been tied up to emulate a floating french fry.....and that they do work on the jacks........but I won't lol. We had been fighting this one jack for a while, and he comes into the boat launch area and wraps around a mooring line. All of a sudden there is this huge push of water, spray everywhere and splashing and no more jack courtesy of Mr. Shark. We all kind of looked at each other like holy smolies

Thick cut bologna works but we discovered hot dogs work better. Dam jacks. ... have had many stuck over the yrs. But never landed one. If some how a person could put the flood light back on the dock a guy has plenty of room to cast. It really attracts the fish. A bugger to land em but lots if water for some great jumps.

I'll do my best to leave you no fish :). We caught a shark off Hanks dock once that took us up to the bridge and then back out the creek and wrapped us on a mooring line. Fun ride while it lasted as we really didn't want to figure out how to get it off the line anyway. That sucker even jumped a couple times out off the govt dock below the bridge. Never had a shark do that. I do believe the fly of choice that evening was a chunk of bologna fished amongst the chum slick from the kitchen scrap bucket. Always a deadly combination!

Hey Erik...You better leave some tarpon for us!!...And you will also have your family to tend to, so you don't get time to fish anyway :-)....But enjoy.

@ Al ...Nice going with the almost Grandslam.

I always wondered about taking a boat there too. Problem with that spot is if those fish try taking you out to the ocean with those mooring bouys things could get interested real quick. There's enough ambient light from places around there to see, but still........

Ai-

You should know better after what happened to Sandee.

Sandee has never been in trouble in her life and when Hank and her went north one day they stole cabbages out of a field, grapefruits out of the orchard, got stopped for speeding and, if you can believe this in the Bahamas, warned for not wearing seat belts. Of course they were female police and Hank offered to take his pants off that time too.
