Up The Creek

Erik was asking how the conditions were up the creek and if I was seeing as many fish as in years past. They were seeing fewer fish last year.
I would have to say the fishing up there has been above average. I’m seeing lots of fish and more big fish than before. Now there are days going up there when you can hardly find any and go to the same spot the next day and see many. There are some flats like Big Labowski where you go and very seldom not see fish.
The weather lately has been unseasonably cool as it is today and that has an effect on the fishing.

I’ll have to go to the roundabout later this afternoon to see the conch lady and get pictures of her making a conch salad just to wet some of your appetites. No drooling on your computer please.

One Comment:

  1. Arrival day on Andros for our group revolves around two things: how quickly we can get a cold Kalik and how quickly we can get to her stand for a conch salad. This will help. Computer conch, the next best thing to actually being there !?!

    Thanks Al.
